John Travolta<\/a> is celebrating his latest birthday by soaring to new heights!<\/p>\n The Grease star revealed on Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday, Feb. 18 that he added another pilot\u2019s license to his impressive list of aircraft qualifications in celebration of his 72nd birthday.<\/p>\n In the clip he posted, he could be seen piloting the jet \u2014 a Bombardier Global Express. The video then cut to show him in the cockpit as he told the camera, \u201cI just accomplished my license in the Global Express SIC.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo this is the Global Express. Take a look,\u201d he continued in the video. And I\u2019m very proud to say I got my license in the Global Express! Thank you for all my birthday wishes!,\u201d he captioned the video.<\/p>\n The Bombardier Global Express is a large cabin, long-range business jet designed and manufactured by Bombardier Aviation for luxury travel, according to Fly Blade<\/a>. It can also fly up to 7,900 nautical miles.<\/p>\n Travolta, who is a flying enthusiast, has been a licensed pilot since he was 22-years-old and has been an ambassador for Qantas Airways since 2002. Since starting his pilot career, he has become qualified to pilot several different planes including the Boeing 747, 707 and 737<\/a>.<\/p>\n John Travolta\/Instagram<\/p>\n He earned his pilot\u2019s licence for the Boeing 737 in 2022, and celebrated the feat on Instagram<\/a>, writing that he hit “a very proud moment in my aviation history.”<\/p>\n “To add to my 747 and 707 licenses, I just received my 737 license. I never get nervous when John’s piloting because he’s calm in any situation and can handle the pressure.
