{"id":604482,"date":"2026-02-20T23:12:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-20T23:12:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/604482\/"},"modified":"2026-02-20T23:12:16","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T23:12:16","slug":"major-issue-at-usa-slovakia-semifinal-quickly-goes-viral","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/604482\/","title":{"rendered":"Major issue at USA-Slovakia semifinal quickly goes viral"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The second semifinal of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 is underway, with the United States and Slovakia battling for a spot in Sunday\u2019s gold medal game against Canada.<\/p>\n<p>But just moments after puck drop, the focus online wasn\u2019t on the pace of play: it was on the uniforms.<\/p>\n<p>With both teams sporting heavy shades of royal blue, with matching blue helmets to round it, fans, pundits and even insiders immediately took to social media to point out how difficult the matchup was to follow on television.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s a lot of royal blue out there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This uniform matchup in the USA vs. Slovakia game is less than ideal,&#8221; said former NFLer JJ Watt. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese teams are wearing the same jerseys,\u201d commented Paul Bissonnette. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis uniform matchup is incredibly confusing.
