{"id":606698,"date":"2026-02-21T21:46:10","date_gmt":"2026-02-21T21:46:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/606698\/"},"modified":"2026-02-21T21:46:10","modified_gmt":"2026-02-21T21:46:10","slug":"philly-students-design-one-of-a-kind-clothes-for-those-with-disabilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/606698\/","title":{"rendered":"Philly students design one-of-a-kind clothes for those with disabilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao MvWXB TjIXL aGjvy ebVHC \">PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) &#8212; Thomas Jefferson University fashion students designed one-of-a-kind clothes so that individuals with disabilities can fit right in.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">It&#8217;s all part of their class, <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jefferson.edu\/news\/2026\/01\/jefferson-fashion-course-fosters-inclusion-and-human-centered-approach-to-design.html \" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Diversity in Design,&#8217;<\/a> through which they created adaptive fashion designs to help people who face challenges in their everyday lives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Each student was paired with one of six clients, learning all about their interests and abilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">For example, Ella Cascone created a shirt with adjustable sleeves for 2-year-old Eliza McGann, who has a limb difference with her right arm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Each client had a unique path to becoming part of the program.
