Wrexham legend Paul Mullin has spoken about his time on the Deadpool set, something that will fill Ryan Reynolds with joy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Paul Mullin left Wrexham<\/a> this summer to join Wigan Athletic on loan.<\/p>\n

After it was made clear that Mullin was not set to be part of Phil Parkinson\u2019s<\/a> plans for the 2025\/26 Championship season, the Red Dragons legend\u2019s fate was quickly sealed by a return to League One, where he will hope to restore the Wrexham boss\u2019s faith<\/a> in his abilities.<\/p>\n

Despite his temporary departure from the Racecourse Ground, Wrexham fans are still keeping an eye on Mullin\u2019s developments at Wigan, where he has already impressed Tics boss Ryan Lowe.<\/p>\n

Mullin will not play for Wrexham<\/a> this season, but that has by no means killed his love for the club. Even during his time at Wigan so far, he still speaks so fondly of the club<\/a>, especially regarding owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac.<\/p>\n

Reynolds, in particular, will love what Mullin has said during his spell at Wigan when asked about his cameo in Deadpool.<\/p>\n

Paul Mullin reached cult-hero status during his time at Wrexham, and understandably so, when you look at the forward\u2019s impact, particularly in the National League and League Two promotion-winning campaigns.<\/p>\n

It was his emergence as one of the leading people in WrexhamFX that grabbed people\u2019s attention. Ryan Reynolds soon capitalised on this and gave Mullin a part in Deadpool, where he played the role of Welshpool.<\/p>\n

Speaking about his time on the set of the film, specifically being questioned if he took anything from it, Mullin said: \u201cMemories\u2026 I\u2019ve obviously got the suit and things at the stadium, but I\u2019m not sure if or when I can do it at some point. But, yeah\u2026the memories \u2013 I will always have them for life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paul Mullin\u2019s Deadpool cameo confirmed his cult hero status at Wrexham<\/p>\n

Before Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac\u2019s takeover of Wrexham, no Red Dragons supporters would have expected the club\u2019s stature to rise so dramatically.<\/p>\n

That rise is embodied by the career of Paul Mullin, who went from a striker well-known nationally for his quality in League Two, but he reached new levels of fame at Wrexham.<\/p>\n

His time at the club saw him, at times, take over from Reynolds and McElhenney as the main character at WrexhamFX, and that comes down to the ability he showed, but also his personality.<\/p>\n

His cameo in Deadpool confirmed that Reynolds had realised how much Mullin had done for the club.<\/p>\n
