There\u2019s nothing like digging through your best friend\u2019s closet for a night out\u2014and when you\u2019re close with Hailey Bieber<\/a>, the options are endless. Just ask Kylie Jenner<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Attending a launch party for Better Half<\/a>, a new podcast helmed by Victoria Villarroel and Jenner\u2019s longtime friend Anastasia Karanikolaou<\/a>, the KHY founder celebrated one bestie\u2019s milestone in another bestie\u2019s leather jacket. For the evening, she stepped out in a fringe-trimmed piece from Versace\u2019s Spring\/Summer 2002 collection\u2014and shared a selfie to her Instagram stories, calling it the \u201csisterhood of the traveling jacket.\u201d<\/p>\n

The long-sleeve top\u2014with its plunging half-zip neckline, braid detailing, and lace-up corset back\u2014certainly made a splash on the early aughts\u2019 runway (and again the following season, when Donatella Versace herself wore it to take her final bow at the Fall\/Winter 2002 show), but its instant familiarity stemmed from a more recent occasion: Bieber\u2019s 29th birthday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In November, the Rhode founder pulled the jacket from the fashion archives for a pre-birthday celebration<\/a> (swipe!), likely with a bit of help from her stylist, Dani Michelle<\/a>. The vintage guru, who also dresses Jenner\u2019s sister Kendall<\/a>, has sourced one-of-a-kind vintage pieces from the likes of the Vintage March\u00e9<\/a> and Tab Vintage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bieber styled the jacket with vintage wool trousers from Prada, while her friend opted for matching skin-tight leather pants and black sunglasses. The jacket has also been worn by Nicole Kidman<\/a>, who was photographed in the full leather set<\/a> for Interview Magazine back in 2002.<\/p>\n
