{"id":60969,"date":"2025-07-13T01:04:16","date_gmt":"2025-07-13T01:04:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/60969\/"},"modified":"2025-07-13T01:04:16","modified_gmt":"2025-07-13T01:04:16","slug":"nick-kyrgios-says-what-he-finds-scary-about-jannik-sinner-as-he-reaches-the-wimbledon-final-for-the-first-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/60969\/","title":{"rendered":"Nick Kyrgios says what he finds &#8216;scary&#8217; about Jannik Sinner as he reaches the Wimbledon final for the first time"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Jannik Sinner has made it to his first Wimbledon final, where he\u2019ll face defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in a Roland Garros rematch. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/novak-djokovic-reveals-what-jannik-sinner-said-to-him-at-the-net-after-knocking-him-out-of-wimbledon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sinner defeated Novak Djokovic<\/a> in the semi-finals to advance, and now has the chance to become the first Italian, man or woman, in history to emerge victorious in singles at the championships. <\/p>\n<p>The world number one is now the 11th player in the Open Era to reach the final at all four Grand Slams, following legends such as Rod Laver, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/roger-federer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roger Federer<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/rafael-nadal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rafael Nadal<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>With the two-time <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/Wimbledon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wimbledon<\/a> champion in his way, Sinner will have to produce his very best tennis to hold the trophy aloft on Centre Court. <\/p>\n<p>He has enjoyed an impressive campaign in South West London, which former finalist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/nick-kyrgios\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nick Kyrgios<\/a> analysed ahead of the final.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"647\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/GettyImages-2224670042-1024x647.jpg\" alt=\"Jannik Sinner celebrates at Wimbledon after defeating Novak Djokovic.\" class=\"wp-image-110976\" \/>Photo by Hannah Peters\/Getty ImagesNick Kyrgios says the changing of the guard has happened in tennis<\/p>\n<p>On Talksport, Kyrgios said: \u201cThere is no doubt that he has dealt with an insane amount of noise over the last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo see him and how he responded and came back. He comes back and makes the final of Rome and it looks like he has not missed a beat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor someone like myself and others who have been out of the game for a little bit of time, not being in that competitive environment, you lose a step, the thing with Jannik Sinner is that he hasn\u2019t and he has even gotten better, which is scary to me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has barely had a bad result.
