The female US Secret Service agent<\/a> immortalized alongside President Trump in the instantly iconic photo where he raised his fist and said \u201cFight! Fight! Fight!\u201d after last year\u2019s assassination <\/a> attempt was raised in upstate New York and is admired by her colleagues, The Post can reveal.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old agent \u2014 whose name was confirmed by sources but is being withheld by The Post for security reasons \u2014 grew up in Halfmoon, a small town in Saratoga County with roughly 25,000 residents.<\/p>\n

She attended Mechanicville High School where she played for the school\u2019s soccer and basketball teams before graduating in 2007.<\/p>\n

She then attended SUNY Albany where she earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in political science and government, a graduate certificate in public sector management and a master\u2019s degree in homeland security, according to online resume sites.<\/p>\n

She started out at the Secret Service as an administrative assistant in 2009 while still in college, according to online public records, and also briefly worked for the state Department of Motor Vehicle as a data analyst before moving to her current protective duty detail.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is a good agent,\u201d said one of her Secret Service colleagues.<\/p>\n

In the famous photo from the July 13 rally in Butler, Pa, the agent is bent over on Trump\u2019s right side, beneath his raised arm, trying to cover him after would-be-assassin\u00a0Thomas Matthew Crooks<\/a> opened fire during the Trump campaign rally with an an AR-15-style semiautomatic rifle.<\/p>\n

Also pictured are two male agents, including Sean Curran, who led Trump\u2019s protective team but has since been promoted to Secret Service director.<\/p>\n

The Secret Service announced Thursday it suspended six agents<\/a> without pay who were involved in securing the campaign rally site, but sources said none of the three agents in the iconic photo \u2014 including the woman \u2014 were disciplined.<\/p>\n

The female agent was the subject of criticism following the assassination attempt, including from tech mogul Elon Musk, who claimed she\u2019s too short to protect the 6-foot-3-inch Trump.<\/p>\n

Trump has praised the female agent, saying \u201cshe was shielding me with everything she could\u201d as shots fired. AP<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving a small person as body cover for a large man is like an undersized Speedo at the beach \u2013 doesn\u2019t cover the subject,\u201d\u00a0Musk wrote on X.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, Trump defended her two weeks later, telling a crowd<\/a> in St. Cloud, Minn., \u201cthere was a woman to my right shielding me. A beautiful person. She was shielding me with everything she could.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cShe was shielding me with everything. She wanted to take a bullet,\u201d he added as the crowd erupted into cheers.<\/p>\n
