\n\tYour first look at Netflix<\/a>\u2018s highly anticipated \u201cPride and Prejudice\u201d series, starring Emma Corrin<\/a> as Elizabeth Bennet and Jack Lowden<\/a> as Mr. Darcy, is here. <\/p>\n

\n\tAdapted for the screen by \u201cEverything I Know About Love\u201d author Dolly Alderton, the six-episode series \u2014 set for release this fall \u2014 promises to \u201cfaithfully bring Jane Austen\u2019s iconic story back to life for audiences that cherish it, whilst inspiring a new generation to fall in love with it for the first time,\u201d according to a press release.<\/p>\n

\n\tA short teaser released by Netflix on Tuesday seems to support this vision, with cinematic shots of Corrin\u2019s Elizabeth watching the sunset atop a roof and blushing when she hears the sound of galloping, followed by a rugged Lowden as Darcy arriving on horseback.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHeartstopper\u201d helmer Euros Lyn directed the series. Alongside Corrin and Lowden, Netflix\u2019s \u201cPride and Prejudice\u201d stars Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennet, Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Rhea Norwood\u00a0as Lydia Bennet, Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley, Fiona Shaw as\u00a0Lady Catherine de Bourg, Hopey Parish as Mary Bennet and Hollie Avery as Kitty Bennet.<\/p>\n

\n\tExecutive producers include Laura Lankester, Will Johnston and Louise Mutter for Lookout Point, as well as Alderton, Lyn and Corrin in their debut production role. Lisa Osborne serves as producer.<\/p>\n
