SAN ANTONIO \u2014 After more than three years of legal pressure, Uvalde CISD is releasing another large batch of records tied to the Robb Elementary school shooting.<\/p>\n
The district is having to comply with a judge\u2019s order from last year to release the documents requested by media outlets.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re told this latest production includes roughly 11,500 documents, totaling an estimated 40,000 to 50,000 pages, largely covering the timeframe immediately before and after the attack.<\/p>\n
Nineteen children and two teachers were killed when a gunman opened fire inside Robb Elementary in May 2022.<\/p>\n
The release is about transparency and about ensuring the same mistakes are never made again.<\/p>\n
