BDX Data Centers has launched Southeast Asia\u2019s first hybrid quantum artificial intelligence (AI) testbed at its flagship SIN1 facility in Paya Lebar, Singapore, through a new partnership with quantum computing firm Anyon Technologies.<\/p>\n
Formalized with a memorandum of understanding signed on July 9, the collaboration will bring Anyon\u2019s hybrid quantum computer to BDx\u2019s SIN1 data center, creating a platform that merges quantum and classical computing to support innovation in AI applications across government, enterprise, and startup sectors.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis marks a transformative step in modern computing infrastructure,\u201d said Dr. Jie (Roger) Luo, president and chief executive of Anyon Technologies. \u201cBy integrating QPUs with CPUs and GPUs, we\u2019re enabling breakthroughs in quantum algorithms and applications.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mayank Srivastava, BDx chief executive, said the initiative reflects the company\u2019s ongoing commitment to advancing data infrastructure. \u201cFrom deploying the most advanced NVIDIA GPUs to now integrating quantum computing, we are building an open platform that unlocks the transformative potential of quantum,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The SIN1 data center is positioned as a regional hub for AI and innovation, offering startups and public sector agencies access to BDx\u2019s AI-ready infrastructure to test and scale emerging technologies. The testbed is also designed to align with Singapore\u2019s Smart Nation and Green 2030 strategies, incorporating features like an AI-powered digital twin to monitor and optimize energy use in real time.<\/p>\n
