The Boston Celtics overcame a slow start and earned a lopsided victory over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night, 97-81.<\/p>\n
Boston turned an 11-point deficit into a 16-point triumph, leading by as many as 28 in its dominant defensive performance. The C’s outscored the Suns 30-11 in the third quarter and turned it into a rout with a 50-11 run.<\/p>\n
With Jaylen Brown (right knee contusion) out, Derrick White led the Celtics with 22 points. Sam Hauser and Neemias Queta added 16 and 14 points, respectively.<\/p>\n
Boston has won nine of its last 10 games and is 3-0 on its West Coast road trip. Next up is a trip to Denver to take on the No. 4 seed Nuggets.<\/p>\n
