CHICAGO (WLS) — A woman investigators said is responsible for the carjacking and murder of delivery driver Daniel Figueroa is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, accused of striking the man with his own car as she took his vehicle.<\/p>\n
Montoya Perry, 33, of Maywood has been charged with the crime.<\/p>\n

Click here to watch<\/a><\/p>\n The suspect faces felony murder and vehicular hijacking charges for the early Monday morning attack.<\/a><\/p>\n The victim’s girlfriend said Figueroa, who is from the Downers Grove, had just gotten off work from Amazon and planned to work extra hours for UberEats when the unthinkable happened.<\/p>\n Chicago police said the 28-year old died after being found un-responsive on West Flournoy Street on the city’s West Side.<\/p>\n His death has left his family and friends devastated.<\/p>\n “I’m confused, I’m lost, I’m sad,” his girlfriend Sandra Guerroro said. “Like, I don’t know what to do.”<\/p>\n Guerrero described Figueroa as a dedicated family man who treated her son like his own. He was a people person who loved to fish and, overall, loved to take care of others.
