The after-party is one of the most fun to go to, and tickets are a lower price than usual for ballets. A friend introduced me to it, and that\u2019s what I\u2019m doing now\u2014bringing a friend who\u2019s never seen the ballet before. I\u2019ve also gone to the ballet as a date. That\u2019s an ideal night: Grab dinner at six at one of the restaurants on Broadway, then cross the street and get settled in.<\/p>\n<p class=\"clay-paragraph\" data-editable=\"text\" data-uri=\"www.curbed.com\/_components\/clay-paragraph\/instances\/cmm2ks0ge001s3b7dzkssirjd@published\" data-word-count=\"50\"><strong>How would you describe the dating scene right now in New York?<br \/><\/strong>All the dating apps have been around for over a decade, and the idea of online dating is just insane to me now. There\u2019s no real sense of communication.
