{"id":618525,"date":"2026-02-26T22:50:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T22:50:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/618525\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T22:50:16","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T22:50:16","slug":"adot-construction-projects-to-close-phoenix-area-freeway-lanes-this-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/618525\/","title":{"rendered":"ADOT construction projects to close Phoenix-area freeway lanes this weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\"><b>PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 Drivers will see some delays on three Phoenix-area freeways this weekend as the Arizona Department of Transportation continues its construction projects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On the Loop 202, eastbound lanes between Lindsay Road and Val Vista Drive in Gilbert will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Sunday for paving as part of a widening project.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Eastbound Loop 202 on-ramps at McQueen, Cooper and Gilbert roads will also be closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Drivers will also see some delays on the Loop 101 where the ramp to southbound State Route 51 in northeast Phoenix will be closed from 5 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday (March 1) for final lane striping as part of a ramp widening project.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Eastbound Loop 101 will also be narrowed to three lanes (right lanes closed) between Cave Creek Road and SR 51.<\/p>\n<p>Closures on the Loop 101:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list | article-list\">\n<li>Westbound Loop 101 primary ramp to southbound SR 51<\/li>\n<li>Eastbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Cave Creek Road<\/li>\n<li>Southbound Black Mountain Boulevard ramp to southbound SR 51<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Drivers could see some delays on Phoenix-area freeways this weekend as the Arizona Department...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/H2V74I7I2VFUTIQTHMYXPVL6XY.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"755\" \/>Drivers could see some delays on Phoenix-area freeways this weekend as the Arizona Department of Transportation continues work on road improvement projects.(ADOT)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Staying on the Loop 101, the off-ramps at 75th Avenue in the northwest Valley will be closed from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 28) for a widening project.
