Another skier on the ground recorded the tense moments that came next as the carrier moved past. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She accidentally slipped and was really falling,&#8221; Raizel said. &#8220;My friend was screaming at her, stop wiggling. She was in panic mode.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reels\/DVKOpE2gY06\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">video<\/a> shows Raizel holding onto her sister, suspended with outstretched arms from the carrier.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My body was in so much pain,&#8221; Roula said. &#8220;I was so scared.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I looked down and kept seeing my death.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Pierce Mayer watched on in shock as he recorded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reels\/DVKOpE2gY06\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">video<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was watching each of the chairs come over the hill,&#8221; Mayer said. &#8220;That lift starts down the hill. The girl could have been hanging do way longer than it looks like in the video.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ski resort personnel said the chain of events unfolded at about 3 p.m. when proper safety protocols were not followed and a skier became suspended from a carrier. Resort officials said no injuries were reported, but added the video shows why those safety protocols are in place.<\/p>\n<p>Raizel said she tried to do a pull-up as the lift was going up the slope.
