\n\tThe latest teaser for Connor Storrie<\/a>\u2019s Saturday Night Live<\/a> episode was released Thursday.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 26-year-old, joined on stage by musical guest Mumford & Sons and cast member Sarah Sherman, opens the video sharing how surprised he is to be at SNL. \u201cYou blew up so fast,\u201d Sherman tells the host. \u201cNo, I know, I know, and I haven\u2019t even had any media training,\u201d he joked before being bleeped out. <\/p>\n

\n\tLater in the video, Sherman joked that one of wishes for the show was \u201cgetting a big kiss from Connor,\u201d before they, alongside Mumford & Sons, pretended to make out on the stage.<\/p>\n

\n\tStorrie is set to make his SNL debut on Saturday (Feb. 28). The hosting gig, announced last month<\/a>, is the latest in a long string of appearances for Storrie and his co-star Hudson Williams<\/a> since the queer Canadian hockey drama Heated Rivalry<\/a> took off at the end of 2025. Last month, Storrie, who has signed with CAA, and Williams served as torchbearers ahead of the 2026 Olympic Games and presented at the Golden Globes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor is in talks<\/a> to join the ensemble cast of Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan\u2019s A24 comedy Peaked. If the deal makes, Peaked will mark the first post-Heated Rivalry role for Storrie. Levitan is also a writer on SNL.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tHeated Rivalry, hailing from Canadian streamer Crave and airing on HBO Max in the U.S., centers on a fictional hockey universe based on books by Rachel Reid. The show focuses on two rival professional players \u2014 Canada-born Shane Hollander (Williams)<\/a> of the fictitious Montreal Metros and Russia-born Ilya Rozanov (Storrie)<\/a> of the fictitious Boston Raiders \u2014 as they navigate a near-decade-long situationship-<\/a>turned-relationship.<\/p>\n

\n\tCrave renewed Heated Rivalry for a second season<\/a>, and HBO Max confirmed it will continue to air the series. Reid announced earlier this year that she\u2019ll be publishing<\/a> her seventh book in the Game Changers series, which Heated Rivalry and its sequel The Long Game belong to. The book, Unrivaled, will be the next chapter in Shane and Ilya\u2019s story.
