\n\tEven though Superman has just been released<\/a>, Nicholas Hoult<\/a> has already scored his next role \u2014 an ambassador for the global humanitarian organization, Save the Children.<\/p>\n

\n\tHoult, who plays villain Lex Luthor in the new DC Studios film<\/a>, recently stopped by the charity and community arts center Rich Mix in London to hold a Q&A with kids and discuss his childhood, what it\u2019s like being part of a superhero movie and his journey as an actor.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s been a real privilege\u00a0to meet\u00a0the\u00a0children\u00a0here at Rich Mix\u00a0on\u00a0my first day as an official ambassador\u00a0for Save the Children,\u201d Hoult said in a statement. \u201cSeeing the joy that they\u00a0got\u00a0from taking part in the workshop reminded me how much I loved being involved in film from a young age.\u00a0It\u2019s clear how passionate\u00a0they\u00a0are and it\u2019s been so inspiring to\u00a0meet\u00a0the next\u00a0generation of creatives, who come from all walks of life. I have no doubt they\u2019re on the right path to fulfill their\u00a0dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSave the Children, which helps kids get access to healthcare and education, has had a slew of notable ambassadors in the past including Jennifer Garner, Dakota Fanning,\u00a0Camila Cabello\u00a0and\u00a0Olivia Wilde. \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to welcome Nicholas as our latest ambassador, and want to thank him for his unwavering support over the years,\u201d Save the Children U.K.\u2019s head of corporate partnerships Mabel McKeown said in a statement. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was wonderful to see how excited the children were at the opportunity to meet him at Rich Mix and hear about his journey in the film industry \u2013 something they\u2019re all so passionate about,\u201d she added. \u201cSave the Children believes that every child should get a chance to realize their dreams, no matter what situation they\u2019re born into and today\u2019s workshop with Nicholas has been truly inspiring for the children involved.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tJames Gunn\u2019s Superman, starring David Corenswet as the Man of Steel and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, is currently playing in theaters.<\/p>\n
