Here are the firms who were the most affected due to the trend:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livemint.com\/market\/market-stats\/stocks-hdfc-bank-share-price-nse-bse-S0003020\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"HDFC Bank\" data-vars-link-type=\"Auto\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" rel=\"noopener\">HDFC Bank<\/a>: The biggest Indian bank by market cap lost  \u20b94,370.71 crore and stood at  \u20b915,20,969.01 crore.<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livemint.com\/market\/market-stats\/stocks-state-bank-of-india-share-price-nse-bse-S0003016\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"State Bank of India\" data-vars-link-type=\"Auto\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" rel=\"noopener\">State Bank of India<\/a>: Its market cap went lower by  \u20b92,989.75 crore to  \u20b97,21,555.53 crore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Winners amidst the dip<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Despite the market downturn, <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livemint.com\/market\/market-stats\/stocks-bajaj-finance-share-price-nse-bse-s0003015\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"Bajaj Finance\" data-vars-link-type=\"Auto\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" rel=\"noopener\">Bajaj Finance<\/a> and Hindustan Unilever managed to ditch the trend and register gains in their market valuation.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) on Friday gained nearly 5% after the company announced that Priya Nair will become its first woman Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD).<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the market valuation of the firms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hindustan Unilever Ltd: Its market valuation jumped  \u20b942,363.13 crore to  \u20b95,92,120.49 crore.<\/li>\n<li>Bajaj Finance: Its market cap climbed  \u20b95,033.57 crore to  \u20b95,80,010.68 crore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Top-10 most valued companies in India by market cap<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reliance Industries retained the title of the most valued firm of India, followed by HDFC Bank, TCS, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, LIC, Bajaj Finance and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer<\/strong>: This story is for educational purposes only.
