Replacements should be completed by the end of May, but varied road closures will continue through June while city crews do line testing and pavement repair.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers will take a detour through Bancroft Road, Bourland Road and Mount Gilead Road during the closure, according to the city.<\/p>\n<p>The water line replacements include the installation of new 8- and 12-inch water mains through open trenching, pipe bursting and boring, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/cityofkeller.legistar.com\/LegislationDetail.aspx?ID=7703033&amp;GUID=344F73D7-6AA2-48EC-BFBF-4E87D7B1DE03&amp;Options=&amp;Search=\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">city documents<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The background<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Keller City Council approved the water line replacements at a city council meeting <a href=\"https:\/\/cityofkeller.legistar.com\/LegislationDetail.aspx?ID=7703033&amp;GUID=344F73D7-6AA2-48EC-BFBF-4E87D7B1DE03&amp;Options=&amp;Search=\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oct. 21<\/a>.
