A North Bergen woman is facing charges after she hit multiple people Saturday participating in a public demonstration in Fairview, police say.<\/p>\n
The altercation happened during a walk for the demonstration at the intersection of Fairview and Anderson Avenues.<\/p>\n
A group of demonstrators were crossing the intersection and temporarily holding up traffic when a confrontation took place between a person and Linda Roglen, according to authorities.<\/p>\n
Following the confrontation, the participants surrounded Roglen’s vehicle and she attempted to drive through the intersection and hit multiple people, police say.<\/p>\n
Several people had minor injuries and one person was taken to the hospital for treatment. <\/p>\n
All injuries are considered to be non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n
Roglen was charged with careless driving, reckless driving, failure to stop for a pedestrian in the crosswalk, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in injuries, and failure to report a motor vehicle crash.<\/p>\n
