He ran an official 4.93 40-yard dash, which included a 1.71 10-yard split. Additionally, Freeling had a 33.5-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot, 7-inch broad jump.

How strong was Freeling’s combine performance? Pro Football Network gave Freeling a Relative Athletic Score of 9.99 on a scale of 1 to 10, and that calculation was with his unofficial 40 time of 4.95. Freeling ranked No. 2 out of 1,512 offensive tackles measured from 1987 to 2026. The only lineman to post better metrics than Freeling was Northern Iowa offensive tackle Spencer Brown in 2021.

Freeling’s work in Indianapolis drew plenty of positive praise. The Athletic’s Dane Brugler tweeted that he thinks Freeling will be drafted in the top 15 and that he “definitely falls in the one of ‘my guys’ bucket for me.” ESPN’s Field Yates wrote that “all the athletic traits are there” for Freeling, and fellow ESPN analyst Jordan Reid noted that Freeling’s 40 time shows up on his game film.

Freeling was a Bulldog who took some time to develop before becoming a difference maker up front for the Bulldogs.

Freeling was the No. 6 offensive tackle in the 2023 class, but immediate playing time was hard to come by. He played in eight games as a true freshman that fall, with his biggest moment coming at Vanderbilt, where he replaced an injured Xavier Truss.

Freeling’s role grew in 2024, when he played in 14 games and started five times toward the end of the season. Freeling replaced injured Earnest Greene during that starting stretch and made his first career start against Tennessee.

Freeling had shoulder surgery the winter before his junior season but was good to go by the fall. He started 13 of Georgia’s 14 games in 2025, the lone exception being the Auburn game. He came off the bench against the Tigers and helped the Bulldogs secure a 20-10 victory.

With Freeling’s help, the Bulldogs finished the year 28th nationally in scoring offense, 35th in rushing offense, tied for 50th in total offense, and 4th in red-zone touchdown percentage. The Georgia offensive line only gave up 20 sacks in 14 games, a 1.43 average good for 28th nationally.

Georgia offensive tackle Monroe Freeling was the talk of Indianapolis on the final day of this year’s NFL…

[43
1318,1317,1315,1316,62,67,132,68
0":"post-626440","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-ncaa-football","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-ncaa","10":"tag-ncaa-football","11":"tag-ncaafootball","12":"tag-sports","13":"tag-united-states","14":"tag-unitedstates","15":"tag-us
["GET
