The IDF Home Front Command on Monday said that there was a leaning toward reopening Ben-Gurion Airport<\/a> and Israeli airspace late Monday evening or Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

The IDF emphasized that the situation is dynamic and could evolve depending on threats from Iran and Hezbollah<\/a>, and also whether the Yemen’s Houthis get involved, though they have not yet.<\/p>\n

As of Monday morning, the IDF Home Front Command said that there have been fewer missile siren warnings, but that those salvos of missiles which Iran has fired have been more synchronized.<\/p>\n

If on Saturday, ballistic missiles were fired from all over Iran, now they have been more organized around a few specific locations.<\/p>\n

Most of the salvos have ranged between nine to 30 missiles at a time, which is now more similar to what occurred in the later days of the June 2025 Israel-Iran War.<\/p>\n

The IDF said that there are indications that Iran would have liked to have fired more missiles at Israel, but also its missile forces have been split this time, firing several hundred rockets on other countries to try to pressure the US into a ceasefire.<\/p>\n

Regarding the direct hit in Beit Shemesh<\/a> on Sunday, the IDF revealed that most of the people in the safe room one level under the synagogue’s main floor were not killed.<\/p>\n

According to the IDF, more people in the safe room survived and were harmed less than those outside the safe room.<\/p>\n

In addition, the IDF complemented rescue workers for pulling out many people from the wreckage and saving many lives.<\/p>\n
