This nonresponsiveness seems to apply to San Diego\u2019s mayor and council members as well. It\u2019s like they all attended a seminar and were told that if elected politicians do nothing and say nothing \u2014 or just blurt \u201cpossible litigation\u201d \u2014 they almost never fail to be re-elected.<\/p>\n<p>Take Mayor Gloria (please): To my knowledge, he almost never responds to queries unless they praise him. If we get any response at all, it\u2019s from anyone but the person being paid to answer questions about what\u2019s going on.
