{"id":628247,"date":"2026-03-03T03:07:20","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T03:07:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/628247\/"},"modified":"2026-03-03T03:07:20","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T03:07:20","slug":"crash-on-independence-parkway-in-plano-leaves-teen-dead-3-injured-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/628247\/","title":{"rendered":"Crash on Independence Parkway in Plano leaves teen dead, 3 injured, police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/plano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/plano\/\">Plano<\/a> police are investigating a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/traffic-accidents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/traffic-accidents\/\">crash<\/a> that left a 15-year-old boy dead and closed all northbound lanes of Independence Parkway Monday afternoon, according to a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Officers and Plano fire officials responded to reports of a traffic crash around 12 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the 600 block of Independence Parkway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Investigators determined a blue Chevrolet Volt was traveling south on Independence Parkway when the driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center median and struck a white Lincoln Navigator. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Four people were inside the Navigator, including three passengers and the driver, according to the statement.
