Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu<\/a> called Iran’s leadership “unreformable” and “totally fanatical about destroying America” during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday.<\/p>\n

Netanyahu stated that ongoing joint United States-Israel strikes against the Iranian<\/a> regime were “necessary” due to the nature of the Iranian leadership and their attempts to rebuild nuclear weapons and ballistic missile capabilities after previous strikes severely damaged the regime’s facilities.<\/p>\n

“The Iranian terror regime is at the weakest point it’s ever been at,” Netanyahu stated, adding that he expects military actions against Iran will be “quick and decisive” and result in conditions that would allow the Iranian people to change their government.<\/p>\n

Netanyahu additionally thanked US President Donald Trump<\/a> for his participation in joint US-Israeli strikes against the Iranian regime, declaring that “there has never been a president like Donald J. Trump.”<\/p>\n

Netanyahu also said that the operations against Iran may take “some time,” but it will not take years.<\/p>\n

“I said it could be quick and decisive. It may take some time, but it’s not going to take years. It’s not an endless war,” Netanyahu told Hannity.<\/p>\n

He added that he sees the war as an opportunity for lasting peace in the Middle East, including between Israel and Saudi Arabia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Yes, I do,” he said when asked if he saw a lasting path to peace in the region.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Netanyahu said the US and Israel’s war against Iran was creating a scenario for the Iranian people to topple their government.<\/p>\n

“Now, of course, it’s up to the people of Iran in the final count to change the government, but we are creating – America and Israel together are creating – the conditions for them to do so,” he said.<\/p>\n
