Three Fort Worth restaurants were ordered to close and three were noted to have issues with roaches in the latest round of city health inspections, according to the inspection report.<\/p>\n
The report compiled by the Star-Telegram contains data from June 29 through July 5 and 144 inspections<\/p>\n
Fort Worth\u2019s restaurants function on a demerit system: Zero demerits is considered a perfect score. Restaurants with over 30 demerits are required to fix the worst problems immediately and remedy the rest within 48 hours.<\/p>\n
Three establishments were closed for serious health violations:<\/p>\n
Stop N Save<\/b>, 1151 E. Seminary Drive,<\/a> had a score of 24. The location had issues including unsafe food temperatures, pest activity, poor sanitation and equipment deficiencies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n NY Pizza & Pasta<\/b>, 4212 Highway 360,<\/a> had a score of 17. Inspectors noted problems with hot water, unsafe food temperatures and facility cleanliness.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Kintaro Ramen<\/b>, 2801 W. Seventh St., <\/a>had a score of 14. Inspectors noted problems with roaches, lack of hand soap and facility disrepair.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n Mi Tierra Carniceria<\/b>, 6722 Camp Bowie Blvd.,<\/a> had a score of 31.
