(Vida Lashgari\/WHYY)<\/p>\n<p>Tia Moen and Angie Kelley were visiting from Austin, Texas, when they found out about the event by \u201cwandering up Ben Franklin Avenue.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of the reasons why I love just wandering cities that I don\u2019t really get to spend time in is that I feel like I\u2019ll stumble upon like \u2026 what the people of the city are actually about and doing,\u201d Kelley said. \u201cWe\u2019re going to learn a little bit more about Philly and what their constituents are about is exciting and awesome.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>Moen said she appreciates art and is an artist in her own \u201cpersonal, creative ways.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you come to events like this, and you realize that everybody also wants to be out here with each other and create art and write poetry, it just grounds me into that humanness again,\u201d Kelley said.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-708160\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/barnes-block-party-2025-1.jpg\" alt=\"Moen and Kelley sit together by an exhibit\" width=\"4088\" height=\"3066\"  \/>Tia Moen and Angie Kelley sit together by an exhibit, July 13, 2025.
