Forget this one. Boxed out. Like old times.

• OK, getting goalied now. Swayman robs Karlsson right in front. Yikes. 8:28 left.

• Kindel nearly wraps a rebound around Swayman, quickly becoming the evening’s star.

• Letang’s back on the rink after missing a shift.

• The famous Karlsson deke draws a grab from Mittelstadt. Power play.

• Third period’s underway. Here we go.

• That’s period. Shots are 23-22 for Boston, but a way better period for the visitors. Only Swayman’s kept them from taking the lead.

• Mantha’s off for a cross-check. I thought those were legal now.

• Karlsson fell not once but twice on that shift. Appeared to be a bad/loose blade. He’s now gone back down the tunnel with the equipment staff.

• Chinakhov’s dangerous every shift now. Every single shift.

• Great-looking power play. Really. Just not getting it by Swayman.

• Too many men against the Bruins.

• Power play coming up for Boston. Chinakhov high-sticks Lohrei.

• Karlsson bangs one off the bar. Good threat by the Geno line. Something’s happening.

• Better beginning to the second. Not by a bunch.

• That’s period. Shots are 12-7 for Boston. Man, do the Penguins not like when opponents pressure them. Main message so far.

• Aspirot hauls down Kindel. Power play.

• Crazy PK for four guys stuck out there for more than two minutes. Skinner was up to it.

• Letang blocks a Hampus Lindholm shot. Hobbled a bit. Bounces up.

• Acciari briefly winds up one-on-one with Swayman but can’t get it through.

• Wow, nothing on Geekie. That’s legit strange. Power play for Boston.

• Clifton hogties Pastrnak, but then gets blasted from behind by Geekie. Should even it up.

• Chinakhov can’t beat Swayman on a breakaway backhander, having been sprung by Geno.

• Stuff’s settled a bit, but the Penguins still aren’t handling Boston’s forecheck — or pressure, in general — well at all. Been a while since I’ve seen this.

• Muse wisely uses his timeout.

• GOAL. Boston again. Mittelstadt bangs home the easiest rebound of his life. Time: 6:00, first period. Bruins, 2-1

• Really disjoined first few minutes to this game. Especially for the visitors. They’re a mess.

• GOAL. Eyssimont. Awful shift by Kindel’s new line, and a giveaway by Kindel himself. Sniped over Skinner’s blocker. Handed the gift right back. Tie, 1-1

• Mantha clean breakaway. Tries backhand. Nope.

• Nope. Only further reaffirming, nobody in this league has any idea what goaltender interference is. Presuming you saw J.T. Miller’s last night in Columbus.

• GOAL. Karlsson with a long-range wrister from the right point. Naturally, it’s being challenged for goaltender interferenc. You know where this is headed, right?

• Yikes. Scary carom off the end boards, and Khusnutdinov has a great chance right away. Skinner stands square to it.

• FACEOFF: Penguins vs. Bruins, Novak vs. Lindholm, 7:08 p.m.

• Couple tweaks from the skate to now: Acciari’s listed as a right winger, but I can tell you he told me himself he’ll likely be taking faceoffs.
