She\u2019s taken to social media to voice her frustrations with the league.<\/p>\n<p>Cloud didn\u2019t believe the threat was deserved. She deems the <a href=\"https:\/\/brobible.com\/tag\/wnba\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WNBA\u2019s<\/a> reasoning for the potential fine silly.<\/p>\n<p>The message was relayed after the <a href=\"https:\/\/brobible.com\/tag\/new-york-liberty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liberty<\/a> matched up against the Las Vegas Aces. Cloud did not play in the contest as she dealt with hip discomfort. She was, however, present on the bench.<\/p>\n<p>The guard wore a hat that read, \u201cNew York or Nowhere.\u201d It seemed innocent enough. The WNBA did not take the wardrobe choice lightly.<\/p>\n<p>The league reportedly contacted <a href=\"https:\/\/brobible.com\/tag\/natasha-cloud\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Natasha Cloud<\/a> with the warning of a fine this week. She\u2019s still not sure why.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I don\u2019t understand why I receive a fine warning for wearing a hat on the bench for a game I was unable to play in? I just feel like I wanna be left alone lolllzzz<\/p>\n<p>\u2013<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/T_Cloud4\/status\/1944214889330885048\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@T_Cloud4<\/a> \/ X<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The NBA prohibits players from wearing hats with brims on the sidelines. The WNBA\u2019s rule on hats is a bit less clear. The league\u2019s dress code does ban commercial logos on everything but sneakers. There are also color guidelines that must be met.<\/p>\n<p>Cloud does not believe she violated the WNBA dress code. She doesn\u2019t think the threat of a fine was warranted. Luckily, she won\u2019t have to deal with the issue much longer.
