M2G Ventures is officially launching The Art Docks, a collaborative mural installation located in the Inwood Design District and Ace on Inwood, just off the Inwood Road corridor. <\/b><\/p>\n

Covering nearly 20,000 square feet of exterior wall space along Conveyor Lane and Security Drive, the project will transform this industrial alley into a large-scale outdoor gallery featuring 18 unique murals.<\/p>\n

Curated by Katie Murray, M2G Ventures\u2019 chief creative officer, the project brings together a lineup of talent from emerging muralists to established studio artists. Following a highly competitive selection process with more than 100 submissions, Murray and a selection committee chose 18 artists, including 11 Texas-based artists, five other U.S. artists, and two featured international muralists from Spain and London.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI was blown away to receive 100 submissions from artists across the globe, and narrowing that field was one of the most rigorous curatorial processes we\u2019ve led to date,\u201d Murray said in a statement. \u201cThe depth of talent was extraordinary. Our five-person jury proudly selected a lineup of artists who we believe bring originality and powerful storytelling to the project.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the committee reviewed the work, \u201ca thematic dialogue began to emerge, figurative whimsy layered with surreal, otherworldly undertones; nature juxtaposed against geometry; a push and pull between reality and imagination,\u201d Murray added. \u201cWhat unites them all is a disciplined command of composition and color. This isn\u2019t just a collection of murals, it\u2019s a cohesive visual conversation that reflects the evolving creative identity of the District.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u2018crown jewel\u2019 of the revitalized Inwood area<\/p>\n

The Inwood Design District and Ace on Inwood began to take shape in 2025 under the leadership of M2G Ventures. As part of the gateway to the Dallas Design District, the 14-building campus spans around 740,000 square feet at the intersection of Inwood Road and major thoroughfares, offering easy access to Love Field Airport, the Dallas North Tollway, and the city\u2019s urban core. Recognizing the strength of the location and the character of the existing structures, M2G said it reimagined the property as a mixed-use destination founded in design, discovery, and tenant experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n

M2G said that the initial investment in the district began in late 2025 with the unveiling of a high-visibility installation facing the heavy traffic of Inwood Road. M2G Ventures invited Jan Riggins\u00a0and\u00a0Naomi Haverland, renowned 3D chalk mural artists, to collaborate on a four-panel series. Their work, which introduces vibrant elements of nature and whimsy, served as the catalyst for the district\u2019s creative identity. The Art Docks builds upon that momentum, with M2G calling it \u201cthe crown jewel\u201d of the area\u2019s revitalization, reinvigorating walls that were untouched for over 20 years.<\/p>\n

Art-integrated real estate<\/p>\n

That vision is a keystone of the M2G brand, the company says. The Art Docks follows in the footsteps of the firm\u2019s Inspiration Alley in the Foundry District, created in 2017. Named one of the \u201c10 Reasons Why Fort Worth is Visit Worthy\u201d by USA Today, Inspiration Alley set a standard for art-highlighted real estate, which M2G is now bringing to the heart of Dallas.<\/p>\n

The 18 pieces provide a vibrant visual journey, ranging from the figurative to the futuristic, including themes of people, nature, and the West.<\/b> The variety of styles and compositions ensures that The Art Docks \u201cserves as a comprehensive reflection of modern Dallas,\u201d M2G said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Art Docks is expected to be completed and available for public viewing by April 2026. Throughout March, the community is invited to view the artists in action as they complete the installation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
