Whoever they are.”

In the end it was not Arsenal who had to make concessions, but it was instead Gyökeres’ agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, who facilitated an agreement.

The former Swedish youth international, whose agency also represents Frenkie de Jong among others, agreed to significantly reduce the 10 per cent commission of the transfer fee that Sporting would have owed him after a potential transfer.

This allowed Arsenal to structure a deal with only a marginally higher fee, while ensuring that the overall sum that Sporting pocket will be the same as their initial demands.

Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Sporting striker Viktor Gyökeres for a reported fee of £55 million…

[45
5407,221,4551,45455,62,67,132,68,13723
0":"post-63625","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-soccer","8":"tag-arsenal","9":"tag-soccer","10":"tag-sporting","11":"tag-sporting-clube-de-portugal","12":"tag-sports","13":"tag-united-states","14":"tag-unitedstates","15":"tag-us","16":"tag-viktor-gyokeres
["GET
