Olivia Culpo <\/a>and Christian McCaffrey are officially parents. The couple <\/a>announced the birth of their first child, a daughter named Colette Annalise McCaffrey, on Sunday, July 13, via a joint Instagram post showing their newborn\u2019s hand. \u201cColette Annalise McCaffrey \ud83e\udd0d,\u201d they captioned the photo.<\/a><\/p>\n

In a follow-up post on her Instagram Stories<\/a>, Culpo shared a heartfelt moment: \u201cColette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world,\u201d she wrote, showing McCaffrey watching over their baby girl. \u201cA love like no other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Olivia Culpo Underwent a C-Section: \u201cScariest & Most Rewarding Experience\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

In more Instagram stories<\/a>, Culpo, 33, revealed that she delivered via C-section and described it as: \u201cThe scariest and most rewarding of all experiences.\u201d According to people<\/a>, she credited her husband\u2019s calming presence in the operating room. \u201cAs soon as [Christian] came into the room, I felt most at peace,\u201d she wrote, adding that she held tightly onto his arm.<\/p>\n

A Journey to Parenthood: Pregnancy & Marriage<\/strong><\/p>\n

Culpo first announced her pregnancy on Instagram in March 2024, captioning a black-and-white maternity shoot: \u201cNext chapter, motherhood \ud83e\udd0d.\u201d<\/p>\n

In another post, she and McCaffrey strolled through a field while holding hands and showing off her baby bump. McCaffrey also held sonogram photos in a sweet moment captured on video. The couple met through a blind date in June 2019 but kept their relationship private until Valentine\u2019s Day 2020. <\/p>\n

NFL player McCaffrey proposed in April 2023, and they married in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, in June 2024.<\/p>\n

Culpo Spoke Candidly About Fertility Fears<\/strong><\/p>\n

On an episode of The Culpo Sisters<\/a> in December 2022, Olivia discussed<\/a> freezing her eggs: \u201cI\u2019ve been making decisions out of fear for the future\u2026 There\u2019s a lot of pressure that I\u2019ve been putting on my relationship because of fertility.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added:<\/a> \u201cI am going to freeze my eggs so that I can have babies when the time is right for Christian and me. It\u2019s an insurance policy. It\u2019s exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a lighthearted TikTok from October 2023, Culpo joked that she wanted to: \u201cRip out\u201d her IUD and \u201cstart trying immediately\u201d after their wedding.<\/p>\n

The Culpo Sisters Knew All Along<\/strong><\/p>\n

Though Olivia tried to keep her pregnancy under wraps, sister Sophia Culpo playfully called her out. \u201cNow you all know why her nickname is Oblivia \u2026 she ain\u2019t stealth,\u201d Sophia joked, sharing a throwback of Olivia trying to cover her bump with her dog.<\/p>\n

She later teased that Olivia\u2019s dress at a February wedding \u201cpoorly\u201d hid the baby bump, quoting her sister\u2019s attempt at cover: \u201cI\u2019m just bloated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the teasing, Olivia\u2019s sisters had no doubt she\u2019d be a natural mother. \u201cI know she\u2019s going to be a really loving mother,\u201d Aurora Culpo told People in October 2024<\/a>. \u201cShe\u2019s probably already picking out her children\u2019s preschool.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple is now settling into life as new parents, filled with love and gratitude.<\/p>\n
