She ran to raise awareness for suicide prevention and to support others facing similar struggles.\u201cI wanted to do it for something bigger than myself,\u201d she added.For others, the race was about pushing personal limits. Bryan Stocker of St. Johnsbury reflected on the mindset it takes to complete the challenge.\u201cI remind myself of what I\u2019ve overcome in the past. I trust myself and believe in myself.\u201dHe said the support from spectators made all the difference. \u201cEven if you don\u2019t know them, people are really kind. They\u2019re cheering for you.\u201dWhile some ran for a cause or a personal goal, others came simply to soak in the stunning Green Mountain views.\u201cIt\u2019s the world\u2019s most beautiful marathon,\u201d said Liam Hackett of Burlington.
