\n\tSaturday Night Live\u2018s Weekend Update<\/a> celebrated Kristi Noem<\/a>\u2018s firing as<\/a> Homeland Security secretary.<\/p>\n

\n\tCo-anchor Colin Jost<\/a> listed several of the controversies that drew negative attention to the department and the Trump administration. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cName one to the twenty things she did wrong,\u201d he joked. \u201cWas it calling the innocent guy they shot a domestic terrorist? Was it spending $220 million of taxpayer money on an ad campaign where she dressed up like Jesse from Toy Story?\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tNoem was shown on horseback in the DHS ad campaign.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShe\u2019s so happy riding the horse in this,\u201d Jost said. \u201cI bet his name is Corey Lewandowski.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tLewandowski, Noem\u2019s aide at DHS and her rumored lover, also is no longer at the department.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tJost added that he felt bad for Noem, in a way.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cImagine being singled out as the worst member of Trump\u2019s cabinet. That\u2019s like someone coming up to you at a party and saying, \u2018We think you should leave. You\u2019re making Diddy uncomfortable,’\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n

\n\tMichael Che<\/a> then addressed Noem\u2019s new role that Trump gave her: Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas. That, he joked, \u201cis a brand-new department located on a farm upstate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWeeknd Update also addressed the week-old war in Iran<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPresident Trump said that he should be involved in choosing Iran\u2019s next supreme leader. So, congrats to new supreme leader Ayatollah Jared Kushnari,\u201d Che joked of the president\u2019s son-in-law and Middle East negotiator.<\/p>\n

\n\tChe was also critical of the CIA\u2019s reported<\/a> arming of anti-regime militias in Iran to help topple it.<\/p>\n
