\n\tWhile his legacy was certainly felt in Send Help, Jeff Probst<\/a> was unfortunately too busy with Tribal Council to make a cameo.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the Survivor<\/a> host recently teased that director Sam Raimi<\/a> \u201coffered me a small part\u201d as himself, the film\u2019s writers Damian Shannon<\/a> and Mark Swift<\/a> revealed details of the cameo that didn\u2019t work out due to scheduling conflicts.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFACT CHECK: True!\u201d Shannon and Swift wrote on X<\/a>. \u201cWe wrote a cameo for him at the very end. Playing himself. If you\u2019ve seen it you know where. He says \u2018Nice shot, Linda!\u2019 and we see they\u2019re on the same celebrity golf team. We couldn\u2019t work out the schedule.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe fact check comes after Probst recently expressed some FOMO over the missed opportunity, noting he was \u201cvery enthusiastic\u201d about working with Raimi.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSam Raimi offered me a small part in that, to play myself at the end, and we could not work it out schedule-wise, because we were shooting [Survivor 50<\/a>],\u201d he said on a red carpet<\/a> recently. \u201cOh, I know. That\u2019s Sam Raimi! I was like, \u2018Wait a minute! He wants me to be in his movie?\u2019 So, we did talk. We did some cross-promotion together\u2014and I got to meet him over Zoom\u2014and I was very enthusiastic to be a part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn Send Help, now in theaters, Linda (Rachel McAdams) and her overbearing boss Bradley (Dylan O\u2019Brien) survive a plane crash and become stranded on a deserted island, where their past office grievances become a violent fight for survival. McAdams recorded a Survivor audition tape as Linda for the film, which plays into the character\u2019s survival arc.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans is underway, airing Wednesdays at 8pm ET on CBS, available to stream live with the Paramount+ Premium plan. The live finale is scheduled for May 20.<\/p>\n
