Today\u2019s India looks ambitious from space, today\u2019s India looks fearless, today\u2019s India looks confident, today\u2019s India looks full of pride\u2026 today\u2019s India still looks \u2018saare jahan se acha,\u201d said Shukla, who spoke both in English and Hindi on the eve of the commencement of the Axiom-4 crew\u2019s return journey to Earth.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"lazyloading\" decoding=\"async\" data-lazy-type=\"lazyloading-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/track_1x1.jpg\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/track_1x1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1px\" height=\"1px\" style=\"display:none;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur journey ahead into space exploration may be long and arduous but it has begun,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Story continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>Watch video:<\/p>\n<p>The four-member Ax-4 mission had lifted off on June 25 and reached the ISS the next day. While they were supposed to stay for 14 days, the mission was extended by nearly three days due to unfavourable weather.<\/p>\n<p>All four \u2014 US\u2019 Peggy Whitson, India\u2019s Shukla, Poland\u2019s S\u0142awosz Uzna\u0144ski-Wi\u015bniewski, and Hungary\u2019s Tibor Kapu \u2014 spoke at the farewell attended by the seven existing ISS crew.<\/p>\n<p>The existing ISS crew members thanked the Axiom astronauts for bringing joy, excitement and inspiration. \u201cYour dedication to science and your professionalism definitely marks a new standard for a private astronaut mission,\u201d said one of the astronauts.<\/p>\n<p>Story continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>Group Captain Shukla said: \u201cThe journey has been an incredible one and far beyond what I had imagined since I arrived at the ISS. I take back fond memories and learnings from the ISS. I believe that the science experiments we performed at ISS will have bigger implications beyond the science itself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also lauded the joint efforts taken by all crew members at the ISS to help the Ax-4 mission.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe one thing I take back is what humanity can achieve and is capable of doing when we work with a common goal,\u201d he said. \u201cSee you soon on Earth,\u201d he signed off.<\/p>\n<p>According to NASA, the Dragon spacecraft undocking is scheduled for 4.30pm IST. After the long flight and if all goes as planned, then the splashdown near the coast of California will be sometime in the afternoon of Tuesday. Thereafter, the astronauts will undergo a rehabilitation program of about seven days under supervision of Flight Surgeons to adapt to Earth\u2019s gravity.<\/p>\n<p>Story continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>The Indian Space Research Organisation (<a rel=\"noamphtml noopener\" class=\"keywordtourl\" href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/about\/isro\/\" target=\"_blank\">ISRO<\/a>) said that Shukla performed all the planned scientific experiments at ISS.
