The retired athlete set the internet ablaze as she showed off her toned figure and washboard abs on Instagram Friday following her gym workout.<\/p>\n

Some of the tennis legend\u2019s famous pals hyped her up in the comments section.<\/p>\n

Williams has been vocal about her gym routines in the past. Instagram\/serenawilliams<\/p>\n

\u201cThose Peloton people are so inspirational!\u201d she told Self<\/a> in 2021. \u201cThey\u2019ll be like \u2018If you can get through this, you can get through your day, so you gotta do it!\u2019 I\u2019m like \u2018I got you! I\u2019m here!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2022, she also revealed to Vogue<\/a> her workouts used to consist of \u201cHIIT workouts (high-intensity interval training), a little stretching, a little strength training, but mostly cardio training.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI do the cardio exercises on Tonal, which is really helpful for me just to get my body back and used to calisthenics,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t necessarily want a trainer in my room or in the gym with me, so just having the Tonal trainers is a relief. It\u2019s just something different from what I\u2019ve been doing for the past 20-plus years, and it\u2019s refreshing.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, since she\u2019s retired from her tennis career, Williams said she\u2019s \u201cway more active\u201d just tending to her two daughters, Olympia, 7, and Adira, 1, whom she shares with husband Alexis Ohanian.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a mom, I\u2019m actually way more active than what I was during tennis,\u201d the 43-year-old said on \u201cToday with Hoda & Jenna\u201d<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, (with) tennis, I was playing Wimbledons and stuff. But, as a mom, I\u2019m gone all day.\u201d<\/p>\n
