\n\tMickey Rourke<\/a> has been evicted from his Los Angeles home, after failing to pay nearly $60,000 in rent.<\/p>\n \n\tAs Rolling Stone reported<\/a> in late December, the actor fell behind in payments for the three-bedroom Spanish bungalow he began renting in April 2025, around the same time he was asked to leave <\/a>U.K.\u2019s\u00a0Celebrity Big Brother after \u201cinappropriate language<\/a>\u201d and \u201cunacceptable behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe court documents, obtained by People<\/a>, show that the Los Angeles County Superior Court ruled in favor of landlord Eric Goldie in an unlawful detainer case (as the Los Angeles Times<\/a> pointed out, the home was built in the 1920s, and was previously occupied by novelist Raymond Chandler).<\/p>\n \n\tSimilar to the initial eviction filing in December 2025 \u2014 in which Rolling Stone confirmed that Rourke wasn\u2019t at the property when someone tried to reach him there \u2014 the judgment was filed on March 9 and entered by \u201cdefault.\u201d According to People, this is likely due to the fact that Rourke did not respond to the complaint or appear to defend himself within the time required by California Law.<\/p>\n \n\tAmid his legal troubles, a GoFundMe was set up<\/a> for Rourke in early January, though he quickly claimed he wasn\u2019t involved<\/a> with the fundraiser. \u201cIf I needed money, I wouldn\u2019t ask for no fucking charity,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019d rather stick a gun up my ass and pull the trigger.\u201d Kimberly Hines, his manager of more than a decade, then admitted she set up the account: \u201cIf Mickey doesn\u2019t want this help from people that want to support him and his fans, then that money will be returned,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tIn mid-January, after surrendering his shotgun<\/a> to authorities, Rourke spoke up again<\/a> about the GoFundMe campaign, which by then had raised $90,000, urging people to get their money back. \u201cVicious cruel godamm lie to hustle money using my fuckin name so motherfuckin enbarassing,\u201d he said social media<\/a>. \u201cThere will b severe repercussions to individual who did this very bad thing to me and anyone who knows me knows payback k will be goddamm severe!!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n \t
