{"id":648572,"date":"2026-03-11T18:30:21","date_gmt":"2026-03-11T18:30:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/648572\/"},"modified":"2026-03-11T18:30:21","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T18:30:21","slug":"steve-tisch-family-transferring-giants-ownership-to-children-after-epstein-bombshell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/648572\/","title":{"rendered":"Steve Tisch, family transferring Giants ownership to children after Epstein bombshell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Giants co-owner Steve Tisch, along with his sister, Laurie, and brother, Jonathan, have requested to transfer their 23.1 percent ownership of the team to their respective children\u2019s trusts, a source confirmed to The Post. <\/p>\n<p>This bombshell comes after Tisch was revealed to have <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/30\/us-news\/jeffrey-epstein-scouted-women-for-giants-owner-steve-tisch-new-emails-released-by-doj-claim-working-girl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">associated with late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>, as seen in the documents released by the Department of Justice.<\/p>\n<p>Should the NFL\u2019s finance committee approve the sale, the trio would immediately no longer have any ownership stake in the team, per the NFL memo that was first reported by ESPN.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrior transfers to these Trusts were completed pursuant to 2023 and 2024 Finance Committee approvals,\u201d the March 11 memo states, according to ESPN. \u201cThe Sellers now propose to transfer their entire remaining interests, totaling 23.1% of the Club, to the Trusts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Giants co-owner Steve Tisch (c.) with children Elizabeth (l.) and Zachary (r.) FilmMagic<\/p>\n<p>Steve Tisch Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The Tisch and Mara families have served as co-owners of the Giants since 1991, with Steve and John Mara assuming lead roles in 2005.<\/p>\n<p>Tisch\u2019s role with the Giants has come under much scrutiny since the revelation of 2013 email exchanges with Epstein in which he asked about a \u201cworking girl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Giants co-owner is mentioned at least 440 times in the files, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47782260\/giants-co-owner-steve-tisch-named-latest-epstein-files\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">per ESPN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 77-year-old expressed remorse for the exchanges, but remained with the team.<\/p>\n<p>He has not been convicted of any crimes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments,\u201d Tisch said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret associating with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In an April 26, 2013, email exchange, Tisch inquired to Epstein about a friend of the latter\u2019s assistant that led to a series of emails.<\/p>\n<p>Roughly two months later on June 10, Epstein mentioned a \u201ctahitian\u201d woman named \u201cEmily,\u201d adding that she \u201cspeaks mostly french, exotic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorking girl?\u201d Tisch asked, with Epstein replying: \u201cNwver.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The NFL said last month it was \u201caware\u201d and \u201cwill look into the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>NFL commissioner Roger Goodell did not commit to an investigation during Super Bowl week.<\/p>\n<p>Jeffrey Epstein DOJ<\/p>\n<p>Steve Tisch (l) alongside Chris Mara (c) and John Mara (r) during John Harbaugh\u2019s introductory press conference. We are going to look at the context of those and try to understand that, we will look at how that falls under the policy.
