Zack Polanski<\/a>‘s claim that he immediately apologised for offering hypnotherapy to increase a woman’s breast size has been thrown into doubt by an unearthed interview. The Green leader suggested he could use his mind to enlarge the bust of a Sun newspaper journalist when working as a hypnotherapist in 2013.<\/p>\n

The “eco-populist” has since insisted he was misrepresented and said he apologised the day after in an interview with the BBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But he appeared to double down on the theory in an interview with BBC Radio Humberside almost a week later.<\/p>\n

He said: “Actually there was an article in The Sun last week where a client came to see me who was a journalist and we had a successful project,’ he said.<\/p>\n

“We’ve done it a couple of times and there seems to be no shift.<\/p>\n

“But, actually, increasingly more and more as I work people there’s starting to become anecdotal evidence, at least, of a growth in breast size.”<\/p>\n

When asked on Good Morning Britain last September if he believed at the time that hypnosis could enlarge a woman’s breasts, he said: “No. I was misrepresented, I apologised a day later.”<\/p>\n

Speaking to LBC in 2024, when he was deputy leader of the Greens, he said: “I apologised immediately, the day after the article 11 years ago, to say that doesn’t represent my work… I apologised because I recognise that can be offensive to people.”<\/p>\n

A Labour source said: “Zack Polanski\u2019s ego might have got bigger, but nothing else has.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s now clear that his pretence to have been misrepresented over his breast enlargement hypnosis scam was absolute nonsense – he got called out years later, and he lied about it.<\/p>\n

“You can\u2019t trust a word he says – he\u2019ll say whatever he thinks you want to hear.”<\/p>\n

A Green Party source said: “Zack has repeatedly apologised for an interview he did with the Sun more than a decade ago.<\/p>\n
