Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski has issued a hopeful message on social media as he continues to recover from a major knee injury.<\/p>\n
The 25-year-old has not played for Spurs in 10 months having undergone surgery<\/a>, with it clear he is desperately eager to return.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, Kulusevski uploaded an Instagram <\/a>post with the bible verse, “Jesaja 40:31,” as the caption. That verse states: “…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. We hope [he can play this season]. In this moment, we don’t know.”<\/p>\n Tudor could desperately do with Kulusevski, who he coached briefly at Juventus, being fit and available especially as Tottenham continue to suffer embarrassing defeats. The Lilywhites have lost their last six games and conceded 18 goals.<\/p>\n Nearly one third of those arrived on Tuesday evening in the Champions League last-16 first leg against Atletico Madrid. The north Londoners were 4-0 down after just 22 minutes, with Antonin Kinsky dragged off following the third goal<\/a> with that being his second major mistake of the game.<\/p>\n Dominic Solanke and Pedro Porro goals have given Spurs a lifeline for the second leg but before then, Spurs head to Anfield for a Premier League game against Liverpool.
