It\u2019s now the quarterfinals at WTA Indian Wells. If you were paying attention to Last Word On Sports\u2019 best bets columns for women\u2019s tennis, then you likely made a good chunk of change in the last round. Of the eight matches I wrote<\/a> on, only two of them didn\u2019t cash out. One on each day<\/a>, meaning 75% of my bets hit two days in a row. Jessica Pegula and Elena Rybakina will renew their rivalry in the quarterfinals. They just met a couple of months ago at the WTA Australian Open in the semifinals. Rybakina won in straight sets, but the second set went to a seven-point tiebreak. In fact, Rybakina has won the last three matches. You have to go back to 2023 for Pegula\u2019s last win over Rybakina.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

Best Bet to Make<\/b><\/p>\n

The books have Rybakina as the favorite, and I share their opinion. Rybakina has won three of the last four matches and four of the last five, with three semifinal victories in that span. Rybakina 2:0 at 2.38 on bet365 is the way to go. Only two of their seven matches have ever gone to a third set.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

That being said, Rybakina winning 2:0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>is a value bet for sure.<\/b><\/p>\n

Elina Svitolina will play Iga Swiatek for the sixth time in her career. She\u2019s only won a single match between them. The only time Svitolina beat Swiatek was in the 2023 Wimbledon quarterfinals, where she beat her in three sets. It\u2019s the only grass match the two have played to date, as this will be their third match on a hardcourt. Svitolina has been in two finals and a semifinal, with one title. Swiatek has yet to make it beyond the quarterfinals of any tournament.<\/p>\n

Best Bet to Make<\/b><\/p>\n

The books are very confident in Swiatek. The current average sits at 3.4-1.3 in favor of the Pole. She has won here twice already, and she\u2019s beaten Svitolina in four of their five games. She might not be having the same success as Svitolina over the last few tournaments, but she knows how to win here and against this opponent. Swiatek 2:0 at 1.86 on 1xBet is the way to go here. Only one of their matches has ever gone to a third set, and that was the match Svitolina won.<\/p>\n

That being said, Swiatek winning 2:0<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>is a value bet for sure.<\/b><\/p>\n

Linda Noskova and Talia Gibson will play for the first time in the quarterfinals. Gibson was the bigger winner for me in the last round, and winning will require the same effort she put in against Paolini. The big question is whether or not she can do this for the seventh day in a row. Half of Gibson\u2019s matches at WTA Indian Wells were three-set matches. Noskova has only had one match in this tournament that has gone past two rounds.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Best Bet to Make<\/b><\/p>\n

There\u2019s a pretty good reason that Noskova is listed as the strong favorite in this match. Noskova is a 3.5-1.3 favorite, on average. Noskova hasn\u2019t impressed me this year, but that doesn\u2019t mean she can\u2019t do so here. I\u2019m going to roll with Noskova this time because this is definitely a match she should win, but she won\u2019t get the benefit of the doubt next time if she drops this one. Noskova 2:0 at 1.84 on 1xBet is your go-to on this match.<\/p>\n

Aryna Sabalenka meets Victoria Mboko for the second time this year. Their first match was at the 2026 Australian Open in the round of 16, which Sabalenka won in straight sets after a second-set tiebreak. Mboko has been undeniable regardless of her level of play. Whether you put her in the ITF or the WTA, she\u2019s going to find a way to win and advance deep in tournaments. Sabalenka is the standard-bearer for all of women\u2019s tennis.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

Best Bet to Make<\/b><\/p>\n

As much as I want to keep running with Mboko, Sabalenka is the correct call here. I would keep this one simple and assume we\u2019re going to get some version of their last match, which saw Sabalenka dispatch Mboko with relative ease. Sabalenka 2:0 for 1.78 on 1xBet is the way to go here. Don\u2019t bother with trying to nail down the number of games these two will play. Keep it simple, reap the rewards.<\/p>\n
