According to the official tour schedule, Perry\u2019s 2026 European leg includes several high-profile shows in June and July, including in places like Dublin, Luxembourg, and France, among other countries.<\/p>\n

Ria, a fan of the 41-year-old pop star, shared a now-deleted post expressing her struggles, explaining that she could not afford to live amid the current financial conditions.<\/p>\n

It has also been reported that resale prices for these tickets on online platforms have exceeded $258 to $333 (approximately \u20ac223.22 to \u20ac288.10).<\/p>\n

In light of the steep ticket prices and the fan\u2019s financial struggles, the Firework singer made what critics described as an \u201cinsensitive\u201d and \u201cout-of-touch\u201d<\/a> reply.<\/p>\n

Perry commented on the post, \u201cBut I am looking forward to seeing you!\u201d<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old\u2019s remarks were bluntly called an \u201cout-of-touch\u201d celebrity response to someone who is \u201cbarely able to afford essentials\u201d\"\"<\/p>\n

While the fan allegedly responded, \u201cI love you!\u201d before deleting the post, displeased social media users pointed out that a multi-millionaire pop star could have easily offered a free ticket, a VIP upgrade, or financial assistance instead of what they called a \u201cselfish\u201d response<\/a> that ignored the fan\u2019s stated desperation.<\/p>\n

Critics pointed out that \u201cworking hard\u201d looks very different when you have a safety net, nannies, and chefs, compared to a single parent working three jobs to pay rent.<\/p>\n

During the start of the COVID-19 lockdowns, Ellen DeGeneres also drew fire for comparing her multimillion-dollar California mansion to a prison.<\/p>\n

Fans found it offensive to compare a luxury estate with a pool and manicured grounds to a prison cell, especially while many people and healthcare workers at the time were facing life-threatening conditions.<\/p>\n
