Syracuse, N.Y. \u2014 Wind turbine service technicians and solar photovoltaic installers have the best job prospects in the nation in the coming years, according to federal data.<\/p>\n
The job count for wind technicians is projected to grow 60% between 2023 and 2033, according to the latest figures from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics. The employment total will increase 48% for solar installers in the same period, the data said.<\/p>\n
The nationwide median pay for a wind turbine technician is over $62,000. It\u2019s more than $51,000 for a solar installer.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s unclear how the massive policy bill passed last week by Congress and signed into law by President Donald Trump will affect those fields.
