{"id":65308,"date":"2025-07-14T16:29:13","date_gmt":"2025-07-14T16:29:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/65308\/"},"modified":"2025-07-14T16:29:13","modified_gmt":"2025-07-14T16:29:13","slug":"quebec-terrorism-suspects-didnt-get-guns-and-ammo-from-us-canadian-forces","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/65308\/","title":{"rendered":"Quebec terrorism suspects didn\u2019t get guns and ammo from us: Canadian Forces"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The four Quebec City area men whom the RCMP arrested last week in relation to an alleged terrorism plot did not get their weapons, ammunition or explosives from the Canadian Armed Forces, according to a DND statement.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/70c8fc80.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;width:1px;height:1px\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf note, the weapons, ammunition, and explosives that were seized as part of the RCMP-led investigation that resulted in the arrests on July 8, 2025, did not originate from the Canadian Armed Forces,\u201d a Department of National Defence statement issued Monday read. \u201cThe Military Police and the Canadian Army continue to support the ongoing investigation led by the RCMP and no further details can be released.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Released hours before the four suspects were scheduled to appear in Quebec court for their latest hearings, the statement did not reveal where the men obtained their guns and ammunition.<\/p>\n<p>In a brief Quebec City court appearance Monday morning, a Crown prosecutor said the government would oppose bail for three suspects arrested in the same case. A TV was requested so videos could be screened.<\/p>\n<p>The RCMP arrested and charged four men last week in dawn operations.
