He was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Investigators learned that the boy and his sibling were playing inside the residence when a firearm was found. The firearm reportedly discharged, striking the child.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The investigation is ongoing.
