KPop Demon Hunters Is Officially Entering Its Sequel Era<\/a>. At least two key members of the creative team are back: co-directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. Who is in the KPop Demon Hunters sequel\u2019s cast?<\/p>\n
We can assume that Arden Cho, Ejae, May Hong, Audrey Nuna, Ji-young Yoo, and Rei Ami will be back as the speaking and singing voices of HUNTR\/X\u2019s core girl group trio, respectively. I also couldn\u2019t imagine the film without Ken Jeong as the band\u2019s manager Bobby. As for the Saja Boys, we may have to wait and see! Y\u2019all remember how the movie ended, right? The same goes for Lee Byung-hun as Gwi-Wa, the demon king. Hopefully they\u2019ll be joined by new characters as well. We will have to wait and see.<\/p>\n
When will the KPop Demon Hunters sequel be released?<\/p>\n
This is the kicker. Animated movies do take a really long time to make. Unless Netflix planned for a sequel months ago and this has been under wraps (which is entirely possible, but I obviously can\u2019t prove it) it is probably going to be a few years. When was the last time an animated musical was this popular. Frozen, right? There were five years between that movie and Frozen 2. There were also five years between Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and its first sequel.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s hope they figure out how to speed it up! I\u2019m not trying to wait until 2030 for KPop Demon Hunters 2, are you? Unfortunately, according to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, that is likely.
