Credit: Thomas Traasdahl\/AP<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Before departing Perth to kick off their official program, Queen Mary and King Frederik thanked the Governor, Mrs Dawson and staff, Government House said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">Federal Perth MP Patrick Gorman and WA Cabinet Secretary Daniel Pastorelli hit the tarmac to farewell the Danes on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cIt was a huge honour to briefly meet Their Majesties as part of their official Australian visit,\u201d Mr Pastorelli said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-9cqv6l-StyledPNParagraph e8utp6u0\">\u201cYou could tell that the King and Queen were both very excited to be back in Australia.
