Reports<\/a> indicate the Bears are bringing back Jaylon Jones on a one-year deal. The cornerback has been with the team since 2022.<\/p>\n

Jones\u2019 opportunities have decreased in recent seasons. In 2025, he logged just 39 defensive snaps.<\/p>\n

However, he performed well in those limited opportunities, earning a favorable grade from Pro Football Focus. He is expected to continue contributing primarily on special teams, where he logged 220 snaps in 2025.<\/p>\n

Jones started four games for the Bears during his rookie season and appeared in 16 games. He followed that with a 17-game campaign in 2023. His role declined in 2024, when he appeared in only eight games with one start.<\/p>\n
