Darnell Mooney is headed to the New York Giants<\/a>.<\/p>\n

ESPN\u2019s Jeremy Fowler reports that Mooney agreed to sign with the Giants in free agency on Saturday. The deal is a one-year contract worth up to $10 million.<\/p>\n

Mooney recorded 443 receiving yards and one touchdown in 2025 during his second season with the Atlanta Falcons. The six-year veteran wide receiver previously played for the Chicago Bears\u2014the team that drafted him in the fifth round (No. 173 overall) in 2020\u2014from 2020 to 2023. He achieved a 1,000-yard season in 2021, finishing with 1,055 yards.<\/p>\n

The Giants add a former 1,000-yard receiver after Wan\u2019Dale Robinson departed for the Tennessee Titans in free agency this offseason. Robinson was New York\u2019s leading receiver last season with 1,014 yards.<\/p>\n

Mooney, who is five years removed from his career-high 2021 campaign, bolsters the Giants\u2019 receiving corps.<\/p>\n
